Hurling 365 is commencing in Danescastle National School next week. Hurling 365 is a well run and fun aspect of promoting Hurling in the area and bringing children into our national games that may otherwise may not have got the opportunity of doing so. It works by bringing both the Schools and Clubs together to promote and to provide weekly coaching to children.

Children in 1st, 2nd and 3rd will take part  in this initiative with coaches from Bannow Ballymitty GAA Club.

Check out the Rackard League Website for what skills the children will be working on:

Introduction and development of coaching –

Shane O Hanlon from Wexford GAA visited Hurling 365 on Monday 16th April. The children had great fun learning new skills.

Junior and Senior Infants have been doing Hurling 365 every Monday after school with their teacher Miss Kehoe and Miss Kennedy. They have been working on their basic skills.

Children from 1st to 6th Class are enjoying the fine mornings for Hurling 365 the past few weeks. The children have been working hard on their skills. Well done to all the children who are participating.
